RealtyTrac provides an adequate amount of information to go into a property well informed. They provide important information every buyer needs to know like the date the property was posted on the site, the full address and the property’s foreclosure status. There is a wealth of additional information and canceling your account is easy with five ways to unsubscribe.
The largest problem we had with this service was due to cross browser compatibility. Everything would load perfectly in Internet Explorer, but we had difficulties while using Mozilla Firefox.
RealtyTrac lists properties in various stages of the foreclosure process; additionally, they include homes for sale by owner and general resells. RealtyTrac has listings from all fifty states including Washington D.C. You can search for properties based on city, state, zip and county.
Although RealtyTrac doesn’t have quiet as many listings as the #2 service, Foreclosure.com, RealtyTrac includes almost all the information an investor or home buyer needs to know about a property like publication date, price, status, beds, baths, default amount, taxes and more. Additionally, listings are updated daily. Although RealtyTrac includes a considerable amount of information, the addition of equity percentage, legal information and sales history would have given this site a perfect score.

Not only does this site provide you with current foreclosure listings, it is also a great resource for those looking to learn more about the foreclosure process, state specific laws and community demographics. They also include Google maps in most of their posts.

RealtyTrac is a secure and easy-to-use site. All of their security certificates were up-to-date and they make it easy to cancel your account at any time. They offer a FREE seven day trial; however, you must provide your credit card information. If you decide not to cancel, your card will be billed immediately following your trial period.
To cancel you can simply login to your account and select the cancel my subscription option or you can request a cancellation by email, telephone, fax or snail mail. Faxes must be received at least five days prior to renewal and postal mail at least ten days.
In addition they have email, telephone and live chat support for all general questions not answered in the FAQ.
