As on of the most well known names in foreclosure, RealtyStore.com only preformed middle of the road in our foreclosure review. Claiming to have more than 500,000 listings nationwide they would not allow visitors to perform a search without signing up for a membership. Most sites we reviewed would allow you to search your local area for foreclosures, preforeclosures and more, then they would direct you to the sign-in screen if you wanted more detailed information about a property.
The information RealtyStore.com provides in their details is considerably extensive including loan information, the property’s default amount, tax info. and sales history. RealtyStore.com includes properties in all stages of foreclosure including REO, NOD and more. They also lists homes that are for sale by owner.
Additional Tools:
Perhaps RealtyStore.com’s weakest area is the lack of additional information and tools the site provides to it’s users. They include a few additional articles and community demographics, but they do not include a glossary, state laws or calculators.
Customer Service:
We have some mixed feelings about RealtyStore.com’s customer service. We emailed them about some security concerns we had on their sign-up screen. While the problem was rectified they never returned our email. Now, all stages of their sign-up process is https secure and has a valid security certificate.
Summary:
Overall, this is an average foreclosure listing service. While they do provide you with a considerable amount of listing information, they do not assist those looking for additional information regarding foreclosures.
